Steptoe Butte and Home
Though I had just been there earlier in the summer, I wanted to go to Steptoe Butte again because it's such a neat place to look at the Palouse from. That day however was a bit hazy because there were two fires going. One of which Grant's son Ross was near while cutting wheat. In fact it started in the area that they were cutting at. So that was an adventure for him. As always, I take highway 27 north since it's safer and prettier, so off we went. Grant peeled off at Paradise Road to his house, Bill turned off at Stentz road to his place, so it's just Tim and I to head in and through Spokane. I turn off at Camelot for home and Tim continues on up to his place.
