Breakfast at Betty's
So I'm riding around looking for something promising and suddenly I see this great looking sign saying "Betty's Diner" and figure that's the place to eat. So we pull up and had a great breakfast, served by Betty!
After that it's back on the road heading south away from Flathead Lake toward Missoula. Kevin needed to be home that evening, so he split off from us at the 200 junction. He would take the route up through Thompson Falls to get home. So the five became four. We headed into Missoula with me in the lead and of course I promptly took a wrong turn and and had to turn us around. Who put me in charge anyways? Oh yeah, that would be me.
Lolo Pass
Leaving Missoula behind we take highway 12 and head off toward Lolo to cross the mountains via Lolo Pass. What a ride! I should have taken a picture of the sign we passed heading up there that basically said "twisty road for 99 miles" – yeah, baby, that's what I’m talking about!
