The best of the twisties ended right about where we stopped for lunch that day - the Gold Pan Cafe, not too far from Cherryville. Great lunch! One thing I've got to start doing on these trips is start taking more pictures, like of our lunch and waitress. She was pretty funny - a good sport for all of the joking that Tim gave her. We did start something here that we ended up doing most of the trip - started asking locals about the best places to see, restaurants, etc. This definitely paid off as far as eating goes, but also for places that we were glad we didn't miss.
After lunch we continued on to Vernon where Terry and John left us for Penticton on their way back home to Wenatchee. 
It was nice to have them riding with us and we wished they could keep going, but they were not able to be gone the whole week.
We headed off to Kamloops by way of 97 then turning north on to 5 we rode past Little Fort to where our campground was waiting - The Rivermount Motel Campground and Restaurant. We were the top guests there. Did I mention that we were the only guests there?
This was one of the locations we were looking forward to because of the promised steak dinner. We were not disappointed! We got camp set up and then we went in the restaurant for a great dinner.
