I had Mountain House Beef Stroganoff and then another pouch of Green Beans, also from Mountain House. It was a good dinner! Grant provided some rasberry crumble and that was pretty good too. After enjoying some time "jawing" around the campfire, we finally called it a night around 11pm.
Sunday
Tim woke up at about 5:30am and woke me up accidentally and I knew I wouldn't be getting back to sleep. Grant came to the same conclusion, so we got up, dressed, and tried our hand at breakfast. I tried freeze-dried scrambled eggs and bacon. That did not turn out to be a winner. Breakfast will need a little work. Eventually we got packed up and left the campground a little before 8am. I was determined to remember to stop more as we went along. So we hadn't gone very far when we stopped at an overlook of Libby Dam.

We made our way into Libby and then after Grant and Tim got gas, we headed off west on Highway 2 heading for the turn off for Highway 56. Before we got very far I passed a scenic pull off for Kootenai Falls. It looked pretty nice so I turned around and zoomed back. I'm glad I did because we found a really fascinating falls which had a real swinging bridge just downstream from the falls. It's interesting because the water falls over a series of small shelf-like ridges before it takes its final plunge. It drops 90 feet over that span of "shelves." Downstream is the swinging bridge that is one person wide and has a limit of no more than five people at a time.
