The rest of the ride was pretty uneventful. We rode through St. John, Pine City, Malden, then Plaza and took the old highway into Spangle, where we finished out on 195 to I90 and home after that.
It was fun week and as always, a pleasure to have Tim as my riding companion. He’s about as easy-going as they come and invites conversation with people we meet. Something I should learn from him. I’m not too fond of Washington State’s politics, but I love the varied land that makes up my home state. We rode 1,680 miles through pine forests, seaside beauty, a rain forest, desert, and the rolling farm fields of the Palouse. Our state has a little of nearly everything and it was nice to have this little tour done.
