At this point, we all thought Kevin was going to turn around. But he decided to keep going for now. Good for him!

We saw several other people on bikes, just like when my family and I were there earlier in the summer. Montana doesn’t have a helmet law and since the maximum practical speed is about 20mph, Tim, Kevin, and I decided to be the risk-takers and ride with just baseball caps on. What a different experience. Everything is louder, you can see and smell better. It was a lot of fun. I felt like such a rebel! Of course, a rebel going very slow on a bike. Oh yeah, we're the rough riders. (Don't tell our wives)

For you Stromtroopers out there, the patch on my hat is one I bought from someone on the forum, but I can't recall who now. It's the one that says "Pavement + Dirt = Adventure" with a star wars stormtrooper helmet as the skull of a skull and crossbones image.

Anyways, we continued like this up the road stopping occasionally for traffic due to the construction I mentioned earlier, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was just fine. It gave us chances to take some nice pictures of one of the most beautiful places in our country.
