Some how at that point I had taken my glasses off and did not get them back on, never noticing until we got to Kalispel. They must have slipped off the bike and I just didn’t notice. So I went the rest of the trip without them. I borrowed a pair of sunglasses from Kevin so that I could at least deal with the sun.

We had decided that we’d be camping, so I reserved spots at a couple of KOA campgrounds, the first of which was very near the entrance to Glacier.

Riding through Kalispell, Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, we finally got there around 6pm or so and got our camp set up. Kevin slept in Tim’s tent since it was big enough.

Once camp was set, we headed over for dinner which was grilled steaks, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Yummy!!! This was something I had heard was done here and we were looking forward to it the whole trip. After that a swim in the pool and a dip in the hot tub. After that we sat around camp talking until probably 10:30pm or so, finally heading off to bed.
